The Router letsyou access the Internet through its eight switched ports.You can also use the Router to share resources such ascomputers, printers and iles. A variety o security eatureshelp to protect your data and your privacy while online.Security eatures include a Stateul Packet Inspection (SPI)irewall and NAT technology. Coniguring the Router iseasy using the provided browser-based utility. Front Panel QoS (Green) The QoS LED lights up when theQoS eature is active. Power (Green) The Power LED lights up andwill stay on while the Router is powered on.It lashes when the Router goes through itssel-diagnostic mode during every boot-up orupgrades its irmware. 1-8 (Green) These numbered LEDs correspondwith the numbered ports on the Router’s back panel. These LEDs have a dual unction. I theLED is continuously lit, the Router is successullyconnected to a device through that port. Alashing LED indicates network activity overthat port. Internet (Green) The Internet LED lights upwhen there is a connection made through theInternet port. A lashing LED indicates network activity over the Internet port. Back Panel Reset There are two ways to reset the Router toits actory deault settings. Use a straightenedpaper clip or similar object to press and hold theReset button or approximately ive seconds.You can also restore the deaults rom the  Administration > Factory Defaults screen o theRouter’s web-based utility. Internet The Internet port is where you willconnect your cable or DSL Internet connection. 1-8 These Ethernet ports (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)connect the Router to computers on your wirednetwork and other Ethernet network devices. Power The Power port is where you willconnect the power adapter.
