This gives SAIL a competitive edge in terms of captive availability of iron ore, limestone, and dolomite which are inputs for steel making.  ã   Bokaro steel plant is the fourth integrated public sector steel plant in India. ã  It was incorporated as a limited company in 1964 and was later merged with the state-owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) ã Currently it houses five blast furnaces with a total capacity to produce 4.5 MT of liquid steel.
