To meet these development requirements ‘financing’ is the key.  A lot of capital is still waiting to be invested in Indian real estate (both domestic and foreign); however there are challenges to the same. These include not only Market complexity, Investment Climate but also lack of a deeper understanding of the evaluation process and Development challenges.  As we progress through this year, the buoyancy visible in the early part of 2014 indicates that the market participants are harboring increased expectations of an economic recovery taking hold. He has worked at senior management positions with Colliers Jardine, Chesterton Meghraj, HSBC and ICICI Ventures, where he has been responsible for advisory, transaction services, strategic organizational restructuring initiatives and private equity investments. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of CREDAI NCR, Member Board of Studies, SPA, Ahmedabad. Sunil Agarwal FRICS  Adjunct Professor, School of Real Estate, RICS SBE Managing Director, Black Olive Ventures Mr. Sunil Agarwal is an Adjunct Professor for the School of Real Estate at the RICS School of Built Environment. He is also the Managing Director of Black Olive Ventures Pty Ltd. Previously, he served as Chief Development and Acquisitions Officer at SARE, a $400 million real estate development and fund management firm. In April 2006, he co-founded the firm, which focuses on the value-for-money segment in the residential real estate space. He is also the mentor to the Real Estate and Entrepreneurship Club at ISB Hyderabad. Sunil holds a degree in civil engineering, urban planning and business administration. His diverse experience includes advising multinationals on regional facilities and workplace solutions, financial feasibility on infrastructure projects, PE placements in property, valuations and direct property investments across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
