The Chemistry Department checks prerequisites on and 2000-level courses prior to the beginning of each semester. Students without an appropriate prerequisite will be administratively dropped. After the prerequisite check, and 2000-level courses will be under controlled enrollment. ALL chemistry prerequisites can be found in the General Bulletin. CHEM 1020 (All Sections): Students must enroll in a laboratory and discussion section; Prerequisites required: ACT Math Score of 23 OR concurrent enrollment in MATH 1400, 1405, or Students not meeting the prerequisites will be administratively dropped. All labs meet for lab safety training on January 25. Students not attending lab safety training on that date may be administratively dropped.
