This school of thought considers the social unity and the society’s needs. Below are the comparisons main core of theories in school of thoughts in sociological perspective: Functionalism Conflict Theory Interactionist Theory that states all aspects of a society serve a function and are necessary for the survival of that society. Theory that said there is a perpetual class conflict in the society due to the unequal distribution of resources. States that all element of society is interdependent and they serve a function for the overall stability of the society.
