1 Corinthians 1:17  For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with  wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1 Corinthians 1:18  For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 9:16  For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!   Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Ephesians 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:11  Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to  withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the  breastplate of righteousness; Ephesians 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Ephesians 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the  word of God: Ephesians 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:19  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth  boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6:20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.   What is Sin? Sin is the disobedience of the 10 Commandments given by God to Moses. When we break God’s Law we sin.  What is the Gospel? The Gospel of Jesus Christ: We were born in sin and live under the curse of sin because of the fall in the Garden of Eden. Because of sin we are separated from God; the price of sin is a blood offering resulting in death. In the Old Testament the blood offering was presented to the priests to pay for the sins of a person or family. The offering had to be a lamb, no bones broken, and no  blemishes. When the lamb was killed the blood was presented to God as an offering for the sin. Jesus being born of a virgin was pure and had no sin. When Christ was crucified he became sin for us by being the sacrificial lamb. On the cross he became the sin and His blood paid the price of sin for everyone. Three days later after His death, He rose from the dead conquering death. By Christ’s death on the cross He paid the price for our sins and for all those that believe, accepting by faith that through Jesus’ death our  sins are forgiven and that He being our Savior through Him we will enter into the Kingdom of God and forever be with the Lord. Our faith in what Jesus accomplished on the cross is what saves us, Ephesian 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesian 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesian 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. How do we know Christianity is real - Change 2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.  2 Corinthians   5:18  and all things are of the God who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and given to us the ministry of that reconciliation: 2 Corinthians   5:19  how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their offences; and putting in us the word of that reconciliation.  2 Corinthians 5:20  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you  by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:21  For God hath made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might  be made the righteousness of God in him.
