The Media’s Portrayal of the U.S. What the Media says about the U.S. What the U.S. Actually Does The U.S. sticks its nose where it doesn’t belong. Most of the world detests Americas presence especially the Middle East. The U.S. acts as the Worlds Police, flexing its authority on the rest of the globe. America goes into conflict with countries without considering the cost. Unless provoked the U.S. stays out of conflicts unless asked to assist. Some of America’s biggest allies are in the Middle East. Most of the U.S.’s global presence is for peace keeping missions. America defends those who cannot defend themselves.
