(Also Mr.s London has told me this which has helped me a lot). I put it in french because my trip to France is one that has impacted my life a great amount and I will treasure it forever. ●  The Forested area at the bottom of the crest ○  Because my family spends a lot of time outdoors hiking and finding trails to explore.  Also because i have learned how to find a certain degree of solitude when surrounded by nature. ○  It adds to my identity because it we have spent so much time in nature that all of us kids are grown to find peace in the trees and when we have a bad day or are stressed out we all go find the sun and fresh air. ●  Basketball jersey ○  Basketball has been a big part of my life for the past many years in helping me through everything I have been through and it has taught me many of the life skills I use to this day. ○   The colours on the jersey are the school colours of St. Mary’s which is the only school I’ve ever gone t o so it has shaped who I am drastically. ●   “11”   ○  The number 11 was always my older brothers number and as i started playing sports he always helped me a lot so I adapted his number to honour him. ○  After doing further research, the number 11 also represents a higher level and greater achievements. “Ten being the perfect number, eleven represents the exceeding of both.” 1 also it is instinctual, charismatic, dynamic and capable when its sights are set on a concrete goal. 2   ●  The Four Animals ○  The four animals are the national animals of their respective countries, (Lion for Norway, bear for Ukrainian, beaver for Canadian and unicorn for Scotland). The only reason the faces are blacked out is because I really such at facial detail. ●  River flowing through the animals ○  In my life I love spending time in rivers and lakes. The water gives me a sense of peace and calm. Spending so much time around rivers always reminds me that no matter what, it will keep moving. The water of life will keep flowing. ○   “Rising and falling,   like a pulse, it never stops flowing.” 3  When I compare life to something that helps me cope with everything it makes it all seem a little easier to handle. ●  Question Marks and Hearts in Brain ○  The question marks and hearts represent the inquisitive and caring parts of me. I am almost always the responsible one and am often referred to as the “mom friend”. It is a big part of who I am and that is a trait that I will have for the rest of my time which is pretty cool. ○  The colours are there to represent my big sister who passed away from Cystic Fibrosis a few months ago. Purple being the CF colour and blue being her favorite colour.  1 http://www.greatdreams.com/eleven/num11.htm  2 https://www.numerology.com/number-11  3 https://wakeup-world.com/2014/09/26/the-river-navigating-your-own-spiritual-route/  4 https://www.irishcentral.com/roots/history/irish-celtic-symbol-for-family  5 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankh  ●  Boxing Gloves ○  For many years I did Taekwon-Do which helped me build the confidence everyone sees in me. The sport also helped me find my sense of strong leadership, which is something I am good at. ○  I also got many gold/silver medals through this sport and that has helped become the proud successful person I am. ●  Badminton Racquet/Running Shoe/Medal ○  Both badminton and running have helped me as a release and I use them to help maintain a stable mental state. ○  Also with badminton and running I have got various gold medals which is cool. ○  The medal represents all my accomplishments and achievements in the past. ●  The Dog ○  My best friend is my pup, Gator. She is more important to me than most people are and she is one of the biggest positive factors in my life. Without my current dog, and the ones that have passed, I would not be the person I am today. My dogs have stood with me more loyal than some people so they have become a big part of my life. ●  Corn Plant ○  My grandparents have a large farm in Saskatoon and they grow corn there. Growing up we always visited in the summer and helped sell the corn when it was ready. We also helped harvest other crops and many other things on the farm. If I had to choose one place to live forever, it would be my grandparents farm. ●  Houses ○   Growing up my parents believed in the saying “it takes a village to raise a child” so the people around me and the families I grew up around helped shape me to who I am today. They helped form my identity. ●  The section with the question mark all represents what I aspire to have in my future. ●  The Tree ○  One of the things I wish to have most is stability and rooting. By that I mean have a solid base in my life that I know can hold me up while I continue to live and grow. ●  Ankh ○   5 The ankh is the Greek symbol for life. The Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. The ankh appears in hand or in proximity of almost every deity in the Egyptian pantheon (including Pharaohs). ○  The reason I included the Ankh is because I wish to live life and see things. I want to travel to places like Egypt and get the most out of life as I can. ●  Triskelion ○  The Triskelion is the one of the Celtic symbols for family. ○   4   “The Triskelion symbol is made up of three conjoined spirals and rotational symmetry. While nature and the movement of life are thought of as one of the meanings of this symbol, it is thought by some to describe the past, present, and  1 http://www.greatdreams.com/eleven/num11.htm  2 https://www.numerology.com/number-11  3 https://wakeup-world.com/2014/09/26/the-river-navigating-your-own-spiritual-route/  4 https://www.irishcentral.com/roots/history/irish-celtic-symbol-for-family  5 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankh future. Highly regarded as a symbol of strength, this family Celtic symbol could be used to show movement forward from adverse conditions.”   ○  The reason I included this symbol opposed to other ones is because my family has such a strong base that really no matter what happens we can always move forward, and that is something I wish to have for the rest of my time. ●  Yoga Statue ○  Both mental and physical well-being are things that I highly value and wish to maintain through my adult years. ○  Also yoga is something my mom encourages us to do because it is very beneficial to one’s health. ●  Balanced Scale ○  Like most people, I want to have money in my life but on top of that I aspire to have a firm state of financial stability. ●  Graduation Cap ○    As of right now, I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life, so for now as far as we look ahead is to the end of school. Whether it may be high school or university, as far as I can see right now is to the end of school.
