Jesus and the Abyss by Miguel Conner | Sep 11, 2019 | 3 comments          Select Page aa  By C.Hunter Revelation to this day is one the strangest books in existence, esoteric, ambiguous, andlled with Abyssal monsters and destruction. It compares Jesus to a monstrous-lookingbeing and yet also brings a new and better world in the wake of the destruction of it. TheBook of Revelation is rst and foremost a book about a cosmic War for earth. With Jesus inthe middle of it all. First, let’s examine the Lamb. We are introduced to Jesus’s Heavenlyappearance possibly in the form of this:  “Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on bothsides and was sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice,“Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it. And I began to weep bitterly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look insideit. The Lamb Is Worthy Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes,  which represent the seven Spirits   of God sent out into all the earth. And He came and took thescroll from the right hand of the One seated on the throne.-Revelation 5:1-6″  This Lamb combines the disturbing and innocent feel of such a creature perfectly. Butthere are many things in this verse, what is the scroll? And what are the Seven Spirits of God? Well, the scroll could be simply full of knowledge that the earth hasn’t known yetabout God, or this could be referring to a book we haven’t seen yet on earth. One of DivineKnowledge that only the Lamb could open and give. This could also be a reference toChristian Wisdom literature such as The Gospel of Thomas. And the Seven Spirits of God seem to be referenced in Isaiah as:The Spirit of the LordThe Spirit of UnderstandingThe Spirit of WisdomThe Spirit of CounselThe Spirit of FearThe Spirit of MightThe Spirit of KnowledgeNow, these all correspond in some way to the Kabbalah of the Tree of Life or the Serot. And the Spirit of Daa’th or knowledge is one I’m going to focus on. Da’ath corresponds withthe Abyss in the Tree of Life and is described in it like this:  The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something likecrowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces.Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and thesound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing intobattle. They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power totorment people for ve months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whosename in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).-Revelation 9:7-11 Abaddon is the Angel that rules over the Abyss and the entropic monsters that dwell in it.Now, what is the Abyss in Kabbalah? Basically it is the shortcut to Ein Sof, Bythos, or theTrans-Innite God, the Endless Being that dwells in the Center of All Innity surrounded byan etheric Innite Ocean of Colors, and Archangels that sing praises to it for all eternity. But the Abyss could be described as the entropic side of Ein Sof by Kabbalists whichdesires all creation to return to it.Ein Sof created through making Adam Kadmon or the Word of it. It then proceeds tocreate the Tree of Life or Spirits of God through using Divine energy to ll the 10 Spheres  of the Tree. And the Abyss is considered the eleventh Sphere or hidden one. It’s thatshortcut to complete dissolution into God instead of going to every sphere to get to God.Now, what would God of Revelation be on the Tree? Well, this would most likely be Ketherwhich is the crown or sometimes described as a throne of Adam Kadmom. This would tinto the idea that God comes to earth and makes his dwelling place amongst the New Jerusalem which is described as a “she” and God’s bride.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as abride beautifully dressed for her husband.-Revelation 21:2 This seems to correspond with the Feminine Binah which is considered sometimes to bethe lover of God and corresponds with Understanding. She is most likely a form of Asherah from the First Temple period of Judaism before she was kicked out. She also isnamed Wisdom in Proverbs as being “formed in the beginning”. This could be the Queenof Heaven in Revelation 12 that births the “Lamb”.At the end of Revelation the world as we know it has collapsed and now God’s Kingdomcan dwell on earth in the new temple along with Binah. Which is described as:   And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throneof God and of the Lamb.-Revelation 22:1 Now lastly what is the “Alpha and Omega” that is constantly being used to describe Godand Jesus? Alpha and Omega means the First and the Last, but what is he rst of? Andwhat is he last of? Well, this could correspond to Adam Kadmom or the Heavenly Adamwhich is the rst thing to be created, and in end the last to be uncreated by Ein Sof.In Revelation there still isn’t a complete destruction of the world unlike some Kabbalistspredict, it follows the belief in Shekhinah which means that Heaven and Earth are now orwill be one and coterminous. The Malkuth which means the material universe has beenreplaced by the Yesod which means the Aether or realm of Dreams.   In Sethian Gnostic theology, as it’s well known Jesus was the Serpent in the garden. Jesushimself speaks in the Secret Book of John as being the Serpent in which he says:As for the tree called ‘The Knowledge Of Good And Evil’ It is the Epinoia of the light. They commanded him not to eat from it, Standing in front to conceal it, For fear thathe might look upwards to the fullness And know the nakedness of his indecency. However, I caused them to eat.
