Introduction
This manual provides information needed to operateand understand the vehicle and its components. Moredetailed information is contained in the
Owner’s War- ranty Information for North America 
booklet, and in thevehicle’s service and maintenance manuals.Custom-built Freightliner vehicles are equipped withvarious chassis and cab components. Not all of the in-formation contained in this manual applies to every ve-hicle. For details about components in your vehicle, re-fer to the chassis specification pages included in allnew vehicles and to the vehicle specification decal, lo-cated inside the vehicle.For your reference, keep this manual in the vehicle atall times.IMPORTANT: Descriptions and specifications in thismanual were in effect at the time of printing. FreightlinerLLC reserves the right to discontinue models and tochange specifications or design at any time without no-tice and without incurring obligation. Event Data Recorder
This vehicle is equipped with one or more devices thatrecord specific vehicle data. The type and amount ofdata recorded varies depending on how the vehicle isequipped (such as the brand of engine, if an air bag isinstalled, or if the vehicle features a collision avoidancesystem, etc.).

Reporting Safety Defects
If you believe that your vehicle has a defect whichcould cause a crash or could cause injury ordeath, you should immediately inform the NationalHighway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) inaddition to notifying Freightliner LLC.If the NHTSA receives similar complaints, it mayopen an investigation, and if it finds that a safetydefect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order arecall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSAcannot become involved in individual problemsbetween you, your dealer, or Freightliner LLC.To contact NHTSA, you may either call the AutoSafety Hotline toll-free at 1-800-424-9393 (or 366-0123 if you are in the Washington, D.C. area) orwrite to: NHTSA, U.S. Department of Transporta-tion, Washington, D.C. 20590.
