Write aparagraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. In its center isManhattan, a densely populated districtthat is among the world's leadingcommercial, financial and culturalcenters.Freedom illuminating the world, knownas the Statue of Liberty, is one of themost famous monuments in New York,the United States and around the world.It is located on Liberty Island south of Manhattan Island, next to the mouth of the Hudson River and near Ellis Island. New York (USA) – The Statue of Liberty a statue / a cathedral / a bridge / a river / modern buildings / boats / a harbour / mountains / a fountain / a canal / desert / a hill / a castle / traditional buildings / an obelisk / a square / a shopping mall / a monument / a tower.  The square is a large trapezoidal esplanadethat is widened laterally by two passages,with elliptical form of colonnades, a spacethat can be seen as closed and open at thesame time one finished off in a balustradeon which the one hundred and forty figuressit saints from different eras and places;Inside there are two fountains, one in eachfocus of the ellipse, and in the middle of thesquare a monumental obelisk was erected,a stone block without inscriptions broughtfrom Egypt that was in the center of aRoman circus. Sydney (Australia) – The Sydney OperaHouse  Edinburgh Castle is a military fortification of the Middle Ages and is located in the center of the city of Edinburgh. It was the residence of the Prince of Scotland David I who, after being imprisoned in England, returned to Scotland and ordered the reconstruction of the walls of Edinburgh Castle that had been damaged in the wars of independence of Scotland.In addition, Edinburgh Castle is the most important and most visited tourist attraction in the city, which is in turn the capital of Scotland. Its military function can be clearly observed, since on three sides it borders with cliffs. The castle is accessed by an esplanade with a steep slope, as it is located on the top of Castle Hill and, from the top of Edinburgh Castle, you can contemplate the entire city and enjoy the best views.. Edinburgh (Scotland) – Edinburgh Castle Dubai is the most populous city in the UAE.The city has many modern buildings.The Burj Khalifa has two viewpoints thatoffer amazing views. On the one hundredand twenty-four floor, located four hundredand forty-two meters high, you will find theone that until now was the only viewpoint of the Caliph Tower, without a doubt the bestpoint in Dubai to contemplate the city.The second of the viewpoints, recentlyinaugurated, captures all eyes after havingbecome the tallest in the world by snatchingthis title from the Canton Tower inGuangzhou. Located five hundred fifty-fivemeters high, the viewpoint occupies the onehundred and forty-eight floor of the buildingto offer amazing bird views of the city inminiature, as it could not be otherwise fromsuch a height..
