Dear Parishioners:   Well, the autumn equinox is knocking on our door as time moves on.   Many heartfelt thanks go out to all those who've helped with the pews and the movement of church furnish-ings over the last three weekends and to the ladies for cleaning the church this week: as is apparent it is not yet complete, and there are a couple elements of the job that need addressing ---- the attention and focus needed to see this through will be applied until it is finished. In the mean-time thanks for your patience.   In the coming days I will be going through the public school calendar and my own so as to get a confirmation class schedule out there for the PSR jr. high and the two high school groups. We do not have a date yet for confirmation in the spring but I'm sure the bishop will be letting all the parishes know in a timely manner. God bless.   Fr Kane   The American Red Cross would like to thank everyone who came to the blood drive on September 10 and donated or tried to donate blood. They had 50 people present and 44 productive units given. So thank you on behalf of all the people you have helped! We would like to also thank Mar-gie and Darrell Knedgen for making and donating the yum-my pimento cheese, Pat Rentel, Miss Linda Gerke, Marilyn Gerling , Bonnie Salmon, Margie Wessing, Barb Twenter, and Ryan Lorenz for helping! Many went the extra mile to help us succeed! We could not have done this without all the help. This event must have workers there to make it a success!
