Graham Rhind (GRC Database Information) zien dat globaal denken iets anders is dan globaal handelen bij internationale adressering. Internetcontactformulieren zijn een goede indicator voor de kwaliteit van adressenbestanden. Als multinationals een standaard contactformulier gebruiken voor verschillende landen moeten de alarmbellen gaan rinkelen. Op macroniveau bijvoorbeeld zijn er alleen al 122 adresformaten. Een bezoeker heeft geen baat bij het verkeerd invullen van data, maar kan een vraag altijd verkeerd begrijpen. Bovendien kunnen verplichte velden, zoals een postcode met zes tekens leiden tot frustratie. Daarom moeten contactformulieren simpel en aangepast per land. Investering hierin verdient zichzelf terug in rendement.
