Welcome to DyRoBeS DyRoBeS©  runs on all Windows Operating Systems, including 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP, Vista, and 7 systems. To install the program: Run DyRoBeS_Setup.exe  and follow the instructions. You may change the default directory (C:\DyRoBeS) where you want the program to be installed in. All the programs and drivers will be installed under this directory. All the examples will be installed under the Example sub-directory (C:\DyRoBeS\Example). To install the Hasp driver: (skip this step if you are installing the academic version) Plug the HASP key into your USB port. Black and Blue keys are for single license. Red key is for network license. For Network users, the key must be on the network server or terminals with NT system. Run HaspUserSetup.exe  from DyRoBeS directory to install the device driver. For Network users, run HaspUserSetup.exe  for every machine that runs DyRoBeS. For Trial License , run Install_Driver.bat  from DyRoBeS directory. If you have any questions regarding the installation of Hasp Driver and license manager, please contact  Aladdin Knowledge Systems at (800) 562-2543 X 4028 for technical support . In a rare case, you will receive an error message during the installation process with Error code: 1904 SPR32X30.ocx fail to register, or the module SPR32X30.ocx fail to load. Or, you receive the error message: “An unsupported operation was attempted”, when you run the Rotor program first time in the Data Editor option. All the above errors are due to the failure of self-registration of SPR32X30.ocx file. You can manually register this file. This file is normally located under C:\DyRoBeS directory. To register the SPR32X30.ocx file, follow the steps below: 1. Locate the file regsvr32.exe. It is normally located under C:\Windows\system32 2. Start - Run - C:\Windows\system32\regsvr32.exe C:\DyRoBeS\SPR32X30.ocx You should receive a DLL registration successfully message after step 2. If not, that means that you do not have the administrative privilege to register the DLL files, particularly in Windows 7 system. Follow this step below to register the file as administrator: Start – All Programs – Accessories – right click Command Prompt  – Run as Administrator  . This will open a Command prompt. If you are under C:\Windows\system32 prompt, type regsvr32.exe C:\DyRoBeS\SPR32X30.ocx If you are not under this directory, either change it, or type C:\Windows\system32\regsvr32.exe C:\DyRoBeS\SPR32X30.ocx This should solve the registration problem.  A number of examples installed under DyRoBeS\Example  directory are included in the software package to demonstrate the program’s features and capabilities. Users are encouraged to go through the examples and verify the results. The complete User's Manuals are stored in the Help Books. Two help file formats are provided. One is .hlp file which is compiled from RTF files and the other is .chm file which is compiled from html files. If you cannot open the .hlp files for Windows Vista and 7, you definitely can open the .chm files. Or you may want to go to the Microsoft web site to download the Winhelp32.exe to open .hlp file. To install the correct version of WinHelp32.exe, you must know your Windows version. Additionally, you must be logged on to Windows as an administrator. If you are not sure which Windows version is installed, or if you need help verifying that you are an administrator, click here to verify your environment.
