Bermiso Course Professor  I.   Objectives With in the allotted time, the students should be abe to: a.   describe ones’  likes and dislikes;  b.   inquire ones’ likes and dislikes; c.   appreciate the importance of knowing people’s likes and dislikes   d.   construct sentences expressing their own likes and dislikes.   II.   Subject Matter Topic: Expressing and Inquiring About Likes and Dislikes Referrence: I’d Like to Speak Filipino  2, Victoria P. Carlos, P Materials: prrojector, charts, pen, computer, white screen. III.   Procedure: A.   Preliminary Activities Example: Teacher’s Activity Students Activity a.   Greetings Good morning class! Good morning, teacher! How are you today class? b.   Prayer We’re fine teacher!   It’s good to hear   that, but before we will start our discussion let us all stand for a  prayer and after that we will have an action song entitled “I’ve Got the J oy in My Heart ”. Are you ready class? Yes, teacher. c.   Review What was our topic last meeting class? Our topic last meeting was all about asking and giving directions, teacher! Very good! We have discussed about asking and giving directions. To measure your knowledge, I will choose one pair of student to ask and give directions. Is that clear? Yes, teacher. Very good!   B. Developmental Activities ACTIVITY I. Motivation ANALYSIS 2.   Presentation How did you found the activity? When can we use likes? When can we use dislikes? ABSTRACTION 3.   Discussion This morning, you will learn about expressing and inquiring about likes and dislikes in Filipino. Gusto (like,want)  and its negative form ayaw (dislike)  are not inflected for aspect. The actor is always marked by ng  marker. When the object or goal is indefinite, the ng  marker is used. Example: Ok, class! Now let’s  have an activity. The is called “Like Me or Dislike Me”.   Activity 1: “ Like Me or Dislike Me”  Direction:  I will choose 5 students to fill in the blank. Put only “LIKE” if you want that dish and “DISLIKE” if you don’t want that dish/food. Am I understood, class? Yes, teacher!  1. Gusto ng kaibigan ko ng pasta. My friend likes pasta. Ayaw ng kaibigan ko ng pasta. My friend dislikes pasta. 2. Gusto ni Yukari ng sushi. Yukari likes sushi. Ayaw ni Yukari ng sushi. Yukari dislikes sushi. 3. Gusto niya ng lambanog. He/she likes coconut wine. Ayaw niya ng lambanog. He /she dislikes coconut wine. When the object is definite, it is introduced by ang . Example: 1. Gusto ng kaibigan ko ang pasta. My friend likes the pasta. Ayaw ng kaibigan ko ang pasta. My friend dislikes the pasta. 2. Gusto ni Yukari ang sushi. Yukari likes the sushi. Ayaw ni Yukari ang sushi. Yukari dislikes the sushi. 3. Gusto niya ang lambanog. He/she likes the coconut wine. Ayaw niya ang lambanog. He/she dislikes the coconut wine. Exercise 1: Direction: Make a sentence using the emoticons and pitures below.
