Because of this, teachers and the school at large should teach tidiness at very young age. This ability to keep a tidy and organized files and documents should be maintained even during the high school times. Another reason why tidying up should be practiced is that teachers are expected to practice  portfolio assessment. Recent educational developments such as constructivism and multiple intelligence theories as well as society requested new trends engendered to radical change in traditional approaches of instruction and assessment. For this reason, alternative assessment approaches are needed in assessing both learning process and learning product. Nowadays, one of the alternative assessment techniques used in various disciplines such as mathematics, science and social sciences so forth is portfolio. Portfolio assessment is an approach of assessment where all the outputs and evidence of learning like test and workbooks are compiled to have an authentic  proof of learning. This practice has been the practice for less than a decade now (Birgin & Baki, 2007). However, one perennial problem that plagues portfolio assessment is the lack of  personalized storage space, a lack of materials and budgets to support teachers in implementing student portfolio assessment (Tangdhanakanond & Wongwanich, 2015). Currently the practice in San Jose City National High School is to have a dedicated cabinet where portfolios can be stored and retrieved. Consequently, this open to all cabinet can have unintended consequence like students knowingly or unknowingly disorganizing the portfolios that damages or have the  portfolios of part of it be misplaced.
