    21 One Act Play   25 Parent Coee   18 All Choirs Concert NOVEMBER   MIDDLE SCHOOLMIDDLE SCHOOLMIDDLE SCHOOL   ISSUE # 13   SY 2014 –2015   WEEK OF:   NOVEMBER 10 TO 14   Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents Friday Bulletin Saturday Service Leaning   2   Inside this issue:   Events & Acvies:   26 All Bands Concert 26 - 30 Art Exhibit   24 - 27 Yearbook Photo shoot Dear Middle School Parents,   It was great to come back aer our October break and see the levels of excite-ment of connecng back with peers and teachers, sharing stories and geng back into our learning rounes.   Learning in our community is encouraged at all levels from students, to faculty to parents...   This weekend we have Ron Ritchhart vising, a consultant work-ing with faculty on the importance of thinking, how we think, and what we do with our thinking.   This will then be an opportunity for parents on   Tuesday November 11   in the morning from   7:30 -  8:45 a.m.   in the Lile Theater to also engage with our consultant.   We are also in the process of planning our next parent coee which will take place on   Tuesday November 25, from   7:45 -  9:00   a.m. in the Lile Theater. Here’s how:   Select Visitor Voucher → New Visitor Voucher → Enter required the informaon → Next (for the conrmaon) → Finish (to complete the registraon).   The PIN and unique idener code must be memorized to use the account for top - up, prinng statement and voucher. Some events involve a trip to visit a service partner while others involve hosng a local educaon pro-gram. Along with the joy of giving, students benet by interacng with children from dierent backgrounds and geng to know the Philippines beyond Maka and Taguig. To parcipate, stu-dents simply pick up a permission slip from the MS Oce on the Monday before the trip. Once it’s been signed and returned to the oce, a student can sign up on the roster. Some trips ll up quickly so encourage them to sign up early. Families are encouraged to submit the Withdrawal Nocaon Form, stang the student's nal date of aendance, immediately. For students who will be withdrawing at the end of the school year, forms must be submied on or before May 8. Failure to submit the form in a mely manner may lead to a deducon of US$ 1,000 from the Facilies Upgrade Deposit (FUD), in compensaon for having held a space for your child, prevenng the School from oering that space to another candidate prior to the holiday break.   The Withdrawal Nocaon Form can be obtained from the Admissions Oce or directly from the ISM website under Admission > Re - Enrollment & Withdrawal >Withdrawals   Please feel free to contact the Admissions oce at 840.8601 for quesons or claricaons.   Thank you,   Oce of Admissions and Advancement      3      4   2nd season pracce schedules are now posted to the ATAC blog and on noce boards around school. 2nd season sports for MS/HS are; Basketball, Rugby, Touch, Tennis and Swimming. 2nd season will run from   November 3 unl January 28th, 2015   This Friday Nov ember 7 sees the beginning of our rugby and basketball programs with HS local league rugby from   3:45pm   vs BSM and Faith teams and our HS JV/Varsity basketball teams travel away to Faith for their season opening matches. Good luck to all teams!   Sailsh is very busy aer the break with the 3rd leg of the Bonifacio Cup held yesterday at ISM and   this Sat-urday   morning is the ISM Sailsh Aquathon, please check the Sailsh blog for more details and sign - up infor-maon for the aquathon if you wish to join in as a late entry.   Please note the new pracce mes for the following ATAC programs:   ATAC all year round teams - 3:15 - 4:30. Sailsh/Gymnascs and all HS seasonal teams now conclude pracce at   4:50pm   each day. MS seasonal teams   3:10 - 4:45pm. The last bus is now   4:55pm   and all aer school programs will conclude by   4:50pm   in order to try and clear the campus prior to   5pm   due to the ever increasing trac concerns in our area.   Parents and students please take some me to peruse the ATAC blog it has a wide variety of informaon and links to our sports and acvies program. There is a range of new products (mouthguards and rugby balls for 2nd season) and items to purchase including items from our service partners. Bearcat Den hours of operaon - 7am - 4pm   Mon - Fri.   The ATAC game schedule pdf which is updated regularly by Triz Gonzalez (ATAC Athlecs Coordinator) gives the most up to date informaon on where/when and who our Bearcat teams will be playing throughout the school year. Access to the game schedule is via the ISM parent portal. Use this link to access the parent por-tal, log in with your user name/password and look for the ATAC Game Schedule tab.
