This research describes Nyadran by researcher using ethnograpic design. The result shows that Nyadran is carried out after harvest crops of the whole Sraturejo  people. The purposes of Nyadran are first, to express gratitude to God for the blessings given to the public with an abundant harvest. Second, to respect the ancestors for the merits of opening the land as a place to live in the society as well as to look for a living. Third, the implementation of Nyadran can strengthen inter-community solidarity with one and another. Fourth, it preserves the native cultures. The benefits that have been  perceived by Sraturejo society by holding the tradition of Sedekah Bumi (Nyadran )is the society feel a closer sense to the Creator, away from distractions (reinforcements) and diseases, better yields. Keywords:  sedekah bumi (Nyadran), javanese, and islamic tradisition 1.   Introduction Latar belakang The reality of Indonesian culture with diverse ethnicities, different traditions, and religion and mythical streams is the basis of social and cultural life. The Indonesian  people had long believed that there was an invisible force that governed this nature. This is evidenced by various historical records of various ceremonies and rituals. Alms Earth / Nyadran is a tradition that is commonly practiced in various regions in different ways for the people of Java.  2 Especially women and fishermen carry out the annual ritual of earth charity not only as routine or annual rituals but will have more meaning than that on this occasion the researcher takes an example of custom which is commonly done in one of the kumbo villages sub district of rembang district sedan. 2.   METHODS The research method used in this researchis observation. Researchers describe the culture of Sedekah Bumi (Nyadran) serve as a convention of Javanese and Islamic traditions on the people of Kumbo in the Rembang.  3 3.   RESULTS AND DISCUSSION A.   Defininition of Sedekah Bumi Sedekah Bumi is a traditional ceremony that symbolizes human gratitude towards God Almighty who has provided sustenance through the earth in the form of all forms of produce. This ceremony is actually very popular in Indonesia, especially in Java. This tradition is carried out on the "nahas year" day or at the beginning of the  Maharrom or Suro  month. The venue for this event was initially carried out at a crossroad, but now it is usually carried out in the courtyard of the mosque, village hall, or open place such as the field.  4 In the Sedekah Bumi there are a variety of special foods that must be served or made in this tradition are sura porridge and produce to be eaten and buried. Sura  porridge is made from a variety of grains, which can only be cooked in a pitcher or cauldron from the ground. Various types of crops, from grains, tubers, vegetables and fruits, will be released at the event and eaten together. The sacrificial head of the animal will usually be buried. Sedekah Bumi is the most popular culture in Indonesia, namely in Java. Culture or culture comes from the Sanskrit language, buddhayah. Which is the plural form of  buddhi (mind or reason) is defined as matters relating to mind, and human reason. In culture English is called culture, which comes from the Latin Colere word, which is to  process or work. It can also be interpreted as processing land or farming. The word culture is also sometimes translated as "culture" in Indonesian. Culture is a way of life that develops, and is shared by a group of people, and passed down from generation to generation. Culture is formed from many complex elements, including religious and  political systems, customs, language of tools, clothing, buildings, and works of art. Language, as well as culture, is an integral part of the human self that many people tend to think of as being genetically inherited. When someone tries to communicate with  people of different cultures, and adjusts for differences, proves that culture is learned. At this time the earth's charity was different from the beginning of its formation. Starting from food (dishes), implementation, place and time in the earth alms ceremony. According to the folklore of Kumbo Village, Sedan Sub-district of Rembang, in the past, the earth alms ceremonies in the area were carried out in old wells that had been not used daily by the local people, by way of people flocking to old wells determined and agreed upon by bringing the typical food for the ceremony, by the way the rice is placed under a variety of side dishes, where the food is placed on top of a bamboo container cut thinly and then woven, the people of Rembang call it "winnowing" and the larger is called "tambir " After the community gathered, even if it was started led by village elders, the Kumbo community called it "Pak Wo". By reading tahlil and prayer with the hope of being given safety in life and being kept away from calamities and threatening catastrophes. After the prayer reading and a series of events, the last one was eating together. That's where the eagerly awaited event, everyone  present took food with a sense of happiness, even in the seizure to take as much food, especially for children, it was done because the food of the ceremony alms the earth is  5 considered capable of bringing blessings and more benefits compared with food on normal days. And with gratitude for the blessings God has given him. As time passes and the development of the era of earth alms ceremony there is a change from its implementation, in the present time in Kumbo Village in the implementation of sedekah bumi is no longer located in the old wells, and the  presentation of food is no longer on the tampah or tambir, but has changed in a mosque, mosque or someone's house that is considered pious in an area. Regarding the  presentation of the food now it has been placed in a basin and wrapped in plastic. In some RTs in Kumbo Village now who participate in earth alms ceremonies are also only mothers and households and children, because it is held during the day, where the fathers are in the fields and fields to earn a living. The typical foods that always exist in the earth alms ceremony in the area of Rembang include dumbek (srcinal food and typical from Rembang) made from rice flour mixed with water and brown sugar and wrapped in young coconut leaves (janur), pouring (pie cake) , gemblong (made from glutinous rice mixed with grated to and pounded with soft sampe then wrapped in banana leaves), and rice with side dishes. Usually the side dishes include small pieces, fried noodles, eggs, long beans, and so on. B.   Religious and Social Values in the Sedekah Bumi Ceremony.  In the Sedekah Bumi ceremony activities contain various religious or religious values and social values including: 1.   The value of gratitude Sedekah Bumi means giving alms to the earth or the intention of charity for the welfare of the earth. Charity is a very recommended thing, in addition to being a form of thanksgiving for all the blessings that God has given, charity can also distance itself from stingy nature and can also distance itself from calamity. Alms of the earth is also a form of appreciation for the people, thanks to the people for their harvest given good results. Therefore they want to offer some of their rice  by making cone rice or plain white rice which is given side dishes in the earth alms program. 2.   Value of friendship In the Sedekah Bumi ceremony also contained the value of friendship, in Islamic teachings also explained that who strengthens the relationship will be facilitated
