Attachment of the answer........................................................................  Part 1 INTRODUCTION   1.1 Purpose   o   Complete the task of Biology   o   Observed the content of nutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fats) in various foods  1.2 Theoretical Basis Carbohydrate is the main energy for living things especially for humans, it can be rice, maize, cassava, potatoes and wheat. If you want to prove the existence of a substance starch on foods then you can used Lugol or Iodine (both are liquid). Lugol/Iodine and extract food which containing carbohydrates are mixed, the liquid will turh in a blue color. Protein, it can be eggs, milk, fish, meat. If you to prove the existence of a substance starch on foods, then used Biurete, when biurete and foods that contain protein extract are mixed the color of that biurete will turn into purple. Fat, a source of fat fo example: cooking oil, meat, cheese, peanuts and butter. If you want to prove the fat content in foods, you can shed a little extract of the food to the paper, if that foods contain fat there will be a transparent stain.
