The energy intensity of the South African economy

Description
This research paper measures the energy intensity of the South African economy using Input-output method. Furthermore it examines various economic methods that are used to measure energy intensity. However input -output method with Leontief inverse matrix is used in this paper to assess the energy consumption per unit of GDP in the South African economy.
