Consenting qualifying developments in SHAs The Housing Project Office:   is working with developers on 46 qualifying development pre-applications, with the potential yield of 3,112 new sites and dwellings   has approved, or is considering 80 consent applications for 1,385 new sites and/or dwellings. The below tables summarise recent activity within SHAs, including consents granted and those under consideration which will result in additional sites and dwellings. In addition to these, a number of consents enabling future works in SHAs have been received in October, including earthworks and infrastructure consents. Consents granted L OCAL B OARD  SHA S ITE  A CTIVITY  Orakei Orakei 23, 25 and 23A Takitimu St, 140-152 and 153-167 Kupe St, Orakei Papakainga development of 30 residential dwellings, and associated private and communal open space, access, carparking and infrastructure. Granted 20 October 2014 Waitemata Great North Rd Strategic Area 367-375 Great North Rd Six-level apartment building with 24 dwellings and basement parking. Granted 24 October 2014 Upper Harbour Rautawhiri Rd, Helensville 151 and 177 Rautawhiri Rd, Helensville 60 lot residential subdivision. Granted 23 October 2014   Page 2 Maungakiekie - Tāmaki  Northern Tāmaki   27, 29 and 31 Melling St, Glen Innes Redevelopment of 4 sites into 7 sites and homes, including earthworks, subdivision and landscaping. Granted 10 October 2014 Upper Harbour Hobsonville Point 130 Hobsonville Rd 59 residential units including associated subdivision, earthworks, landscaping and infrastructure. Granted 25 September 2014 New consents lodged L OCAL B OARD  SHA S ITE  A CTIVITY  Franklin Belmont Belmont SHA Structure plan for Belmont as required by the Greenfield Urban Precinct provisions of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan. Hibiscus and Bays Silverdale 187 and 127 Wainui Rd, Silverdale 61 residential units including associated subdivision, earthworks, landscaping and infrastructure. Upper Harbour Hobsonville Point 5 and 5a Scott Rd, 129, 133. 137, 141, 165 Clark Rd, Hobsonville 6 separate Qualifying Development applications by different applicants for residential subdivision (total of 201 dwellings) in accordance with a framework plan and to enable civil works.   Page 3 Master-planning and plan variations in SHAs The Housing Project Office is facilitating master-planning of 17 plan variations; these are at different stages  –  initiating, pre-application, final advice or lodged.
