This Office Container is not certified for use as analyzer house in hazardous area. Installation and/or use of internal source of release (such as analyzer for samples of flammable fluids) in this Office Container is strictly prohibited. This procedure will be reviewed and revised as necessary. 2.0   Energizing During initial start-up or after shutdown, before energizing please follow the following steps: 2.1   Start purging (through the air supply duct) the internal atmosphere of the Office Container. 2.2   Disconnect / unplug all non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses from receptacles. This step shall be verified by a qualified electrician. 2.3   If practicable, all non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses integrated with energy-storage parts (such as battery, capacity, etc.) will be removed from the Office Container. This step shall be verified by a qualified electrician. 2.4   If impracticable to remove all non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses integrated with energy-storage parts (such as battery, capacity, etc.) from the Office Container, use Ex-rated portable gas detector to measure and ensure that the internal atmosphere is non-hazardous.  Note: An atmosphere is considered non-hazardous when, at all points in the room, the enclosure and associated duct, the concentration of  flammable gases or vapors is below 25%LEL. The place of measurement should be judiciously chosen to determine the highest concentration of gas. 2.5   If impracticable to ensure that the internal atmosphere is non-hazardous, keep purging of sufficient duration until the internal atmosphere may be considered as non-hazardous.  Note: Generally, the volume of air required for purging is estimated as at least five times the internal volume of the room and its associated duct  . 2.6   Keep all doors and windows closed, maintain pressurization of the room (at least over 25 Pa higher than the outer atmosphere). 2.7   Power on to energize the room, wait until the Fire & Gas Detection system (installed in the room) completes initial start-up. 2.8   Use the Fire & Gas Detection system (installed in the room) to ensure the internal atmosphere is non-hazardous (no alarm in the Fire & Gas panel). 2.9    Now the energizing is complete, it is allowed to start using non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses in the room.    RONG DOI OPERATION PHASE PROCEDURE FOR USE OF OFFICE CONTAINER IN ZONE 2 HAZRADOUS AREA   4 VN01-000-00-R-AA-0008 2.10   Using Laptop, the battery must be detached at all times to remove the ignition source. 3.0   Monitoring Pressurization 3.1   After energizing, it is mandatory to continuously keep monitoring and maintain pressurization of the room (at least over 25 Pa higher than the outer atmosphere). 3.2   The Office Container is equipped with a system which can automatically detect the failure of pressurization and generate alarm, cut-off electric supply to receptacles and air conditioner after an extended period. 3.3   In case any failure of the Automatic Monitoring Pressurization, a person-in-charge shall be assigned to monitor the pressurization and respond as  per the Action Plan in case Failure of Pressurization. 4.0    Action Plan in case Failure of Pressurization In case Failure of Pressurization is detected, the following provisions should be made: 1.1.   Suitable alarm (visible or audible or both) indicating absence of  pressurization, and 1.2.   Immediate action to restore pressurization, and 1.3.   Programmed disconnection of power supplies to receptacles for non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses if the pressurization cannot be restored for an extended period of 1 minute or if the concentration of flammable gas is rising to a dangerous level (recognized by activation of strobe and sounder). 1.4.   Remove all non-Ex rated electrical apparatuses integrated with energy-storage parts (such as battery, capacity, etc.) from the Office Container.
