The discussion was about some positive impacts for the students when using Facebook as a media in the learning process.Based on the data from the article, Facebook indeed help to boost the students’ confidence when using English language and they also interested to join in class discussion. The research on this article was conducted in Indonesia and the data were collected through interview, observation and questionnaire. On this paper, the writer will put some arguments which are related with the article, both agreement and disagreement. The arguments below will be provided with theories to strengthen some statement from the writer. 2.   Summary This era also called as industry 4.0 which makes every section cannot be separated from digital technology. Nowadays, people tend to use social media as a way to communicate among one and another. Facebook is a common social media used and Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of Facebook users. In order to take some positive impacts of using Facebook the teachers convince to apply it in the learning activities. Some EFL teachers have proved that using Facebook as a tool in the learning process is effective. The teacher has assumed that using technology will attract the students in the learning process. The students also admit that using Facebook help to boost their confidence in using English language to interact on the social media. Then, Facebook also give some urges for the students to join group discussion in almost all of the writing group section. For example, the students actively give comment to their partner of the group  2 which helping their writing skill. The other advantage of using facebook is the students could write is on that application easily and also they can practice it daily. 3.   Critics As stated on the article that “s tudents have mastered the lesson before the teachers explained it in the classroom ”  (Hennessy, Ruthven, & Brindley, 2005). This statement intend to the fact a method in the learning process has changed from teacher-centered to students-centered. The writer extremely agrees with this term because of a compatibility curriculum system used in Indonesia. Ratnaningsih (2017) explained on her article that according to Regulation of Ministry of National Education No. 65, Scientific Approach in 2013 curriculum trains the students to: (1) be the center of learning, (2) involve the cognitive processes which is potential in stimulating intellectual development, specifically the high level of student; thinking skill, (3) give opportunities to the student to assimilate and accommodate concepts, laws and principles, (4) find knowledge through scientific process and use it in learning process, (5) learn from various sources, (6) promote acculturation and empowerment of students as lifelong learners, (7) apply values by giving exemplary things, build willingness, and develop creativity of the students in the learning process, (8) implement the principles in which everyone is teacher, everyone is student and everywhere is class. Based on the article, the researcher found out that “ Facebook effective in enhancing EFL learning process, particularly the students' writing skills at least in three aspects; boost their confidence in using the language, encourage their participation in class activities, and help improve their fluency in English writing ” (Fithriani: 2019). Despite of the students perspective when using Facebook in EFL writing class, there is also another perspective which are denying that statements. Selwyn (2009) pointed out that “ Facebook failed to improve studen ts’ writing because students use informal writing structures rather than formal academic writing styles. ”  Then, Gallifa (2009) also stated that “ the uncontrolled use of Facebook also allows students to engage in immoral activities during the communication process. ”   4.   Conclusion   Technology in this era cannot be separated from every particular system, even in communication and education. Social media is one of the technologies to help people in communication. It can be conclude that, there are some advantages and disadvantages of using Facebook in EFL writing class. Based on the article, the writer agrees that in the  3 learning process the students should be as the main center while the teacher stands as a facilitator and a guider. From the students' perspective, Facebook help to boost their confidence to use English language on social media, the students also find more urges to be a participant in almost all of the writing group section in Facebook, and they also convinced that their writing skill get better because they can practice it daily. However, there are also some others perspective which found that using Facebook tend to make the students engage with immoral activities during the learning process and failed to improve the students' skill.  4 References Cabada, R., Estrada, M., Sanchez, L., Sandoval, G., Velazquez, J., & Barrientos, J.
