  INDAH CHAIRANI PBI-2/7 th  semester Language learning is a communication skill in various communication contexts. Learning English is essentially learning communication. Reading skills written in English as a foreign language (EFL) are an important element of the formation of an English language curriculum in secondary and high schools (both English and non-English departments) in Indonesia. The article entitled “Suggesting Critical -Thinking and Problem-Solving Method into Teaching English Reading to EFL Stu dents in Indonesia” which written by Idris Sadri , Rahmah Fithriani , Saidurrahman , Maryati Salmiah , and Sholihatul Hamidah tell about how critical- thinking and problem-solving method can be used in teaching English reading to advance teachers and students level of English competence . Currently the supporting methods are Critical Thinking and Problem Solving in supporting reading skills of EFL students in Indonesia.Critical thinking means making reasoned judgments that are logical and well-thought out. It is a way of thinking in which you don’t simply accept all arguments and conclusions you are exposed to but rather have an attitude involving questioning such arguments and conclusions. It requires wanting to see what evidence is involved to support a particular argument or conclusion (Ana Satsumi,2018). In this article that discussed about “Suggestion critical -thinking and problem-solving method into teaching English reading to EFL Students in Indonesia” . Based on the statements and opinions presented in the article , I agree with the statement which says that Critical-thinking and Problem-solving method are used very effective to be used in learning English for EFL students in Indonesia because by using both methods, students will get used to digesting every word or sentence learned and can think critically and solve problems in the material being discussed (the methods will help the students to think critically and find the solutions encountered in learning English text) .There are reasons that strengthen the effective choice of these two methods. By applying these two methods, students will be tested as well as curious curiosity . Critical-thinking and Problem-solving method are used very effective to be used in learning English for EFL students in Indonesia because by using both methods, students will get used to digesting every word or sentence learned and can think critically and solve problems in the material being discussed (the methods will help the students to think critically and find the solutions encountered in learning English text) .The combination of critical thinking and   problem solving as a method in teaching reading comprehension could help the students to get higher score in reading significantly.
