Business Need Our client’s business portfolio was witnessing significant growth trajectory. Each of the operating geographies wanted to achieve timely availability of critical information and an effective integration of the same with the existing processes. Existing HR processes were stormed by heavy influence of manual transactions. It was also analyzed that most of these processes were diverse and lacked uniformity across their operating business units. Effective timely reporting often took massive beating due to the existence of multiple systems. Scattered and indiscrete information throughout the organization required an immediate paradigm shift towards an effective Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Our client turned to PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM solution which was an ideal fit for their Organization’s needs. While they also realized that this platform would undoubtedly be far more efficient in terms of its performance and user-friendly approach, the company also required more tangible cost benefits that greater automation would bring in. Hexaware Technologies was selected for this Global PeopleSoft 9.2 implementation. Hexaware met all the required qualification criteria’s and was selected as a trusted partner for the Global PeopleSoft 9.2 implementation Our Solution Hexaware leveraged its Global delivery model for deploying PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM solution. This solution theme was focused to reduce project costs and accelerate time-to-value. In order to facilitate a complete and timely knowledge transfer to the client, Hexaware worked very closely with each of the key client stakeholder‘s to ensure smooth project execution. Hexaware used its Rapid PeopleSoft implementation methodology for enabling this HR transformation. The overall implementation solution was segmented into multiple waves and phases for clients North  American headquarters followed by other operating subsidiaries. The below table highlights phased wise implementation for the North American headquarters. PeopleSoft 9.2 Application Rollout to Mexico  Simultaneously, the PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM application was rolled out to its first subsidiary in Mexico. This implementation was again done in phases as shown below Hexaware’s team of HCM solution experts built a future working model for the client to easily take control of the newly implemented system. The entire Rollout approach was standardized for the customer so that it can be easily adaptable for its subsidiaries to the maximum extent. Domain expertise was combined with business process consulting to put these processes in place without impacting project delivery time. Enterprise Solutions Project Challenges Hexaware’s solution was addressed to multiple stakeholders at different levels of skill and competence. It called for an approach which features easy accessibility, user-friendliness and future scalability Apart from this, the solution had to address the following specific challenges: ã   Hexaware’s project team had to first study the current processes and recommend an futuristic scalable solution which could be delivered by PeopleSoft 9.2 capabilities ã   With minimum guidelines, Hexaware had to develop a complex Payroll Interface from PeopleSoft adhering to the Ceridian/HPW system.  ã   Missing ownership matrix in multi-vendor communication scenarios - Hexaware consultants were required to work closely with multiple external vendors and systems for building interfaces for Payroll, Recruitment and Benefits service providers. With minimum disruptions, the project was required to achieve success milestones while ensuring a smooth transition to PeopleSoft 9.2 ã   Each operating subsidiary of our client represented unique challenges such as disparate and multiple systems for each function and in each country, duplication of efforts, excessive manual interventions, specific local regulatory requirements not to mention the communication barriers due to linguistic and geographical differences. Our solution was required to envision all of these challenges and define a standardized approach which could drive best of breed practices across their operating network Phase 1 The First phase of implementation included PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Workforce Administration, Base Benefits and Payroll Interface. Phase 2 he next phases saw the implementation of the HCM modules such as Benefits  Administration and Benefits self-service modules, eProfile and eProfile Manager Desktop, ePerformance, eCompensation, interfaces with the Recruitment system and Profile Management modules Phase 1 The First phase of implementation included PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Workforce Administration, eProfile, eProfile Manager Desktop, Profile Management Phase 2 The next phase included Implementation of PeopleSoft Absence Management, which was integrated with Payroll, Recruitment, Training, Attendance.  © Hexaware Technologies.
