Introduction According to Prensky defined today’s learners as ‘digital natives’ while  their teachers ‘digital immigrants’. He defined digital natives as the “native speakers of  the digital language of computers, video games and the Internet” and digital immigrantsas “those who were not born into the digital world but have, at some later point of lives,become fascinated by and adopted many or most aspects of the new technology are”  (Prensky, 2001, p. 1-2). The integration of technology in every aspect of human life is unavoidable today,include in language teaching and learning. MALL as an approach to teaching and learning language has also beem practiced in Indonesia. One type of application that is now widely uses in LTL, especially in the EFL context is a social networking service (SNS), which has the primary  purpose of connecting with others. B. Summary The use of social media in writing learning is very influential. One of the social media applications used in EFL learning is Facebook. The use of facebook in teaching EFL provides its users to communicate with users from different countries who use different mother tongues. In this article,research applies a qualitative approach. Questionaires and interviews were applied to collect data about student involvement and experience. Students can use facebook as a means of discussion and improve the quality of students who are active in using social media, especially facebook. So,the teacher does not need to bother giving direction on how to use the application. The use facebook as learning tool in EFL writing classes helps students improve their confidence in using English as a means of communication. The use of the facebook aplication in  learning EFL is recognized by stidents who read and write more in english while commucating through the application. The use of facebook in EFL lessons can help students enjoy reading and writing. In using this application, all students are actively involved in the EFL learning activities. Stidents assume, they can write faster even when tey are not planning any topic for discussion. C. Critic This article only discusses the advantages of using the facebook application on writing lessons. But does nkt discuss the negative impact of using social media. Students tend to exprience depency if they use social media too often. And student are not able to write and pour their thoughts on paper. D. Conclussion By using this method in EFL learning, it is very influential for its users, the use facebook make it easy for us to dicuss and communicate and also be able to improve the quality of student language and help student improveanguage confidence in the social media and with this media indirectly makes students creative in discussions because when communicating from this media. They don't need to plane the topic of conveesation.
