Critical thinking is the ability or skills which can help in the process of teachingEnglish well, especially in teaching reading comprehension with the existence of this methodallows students to understand the contents of the reading texts provided by teachers at school.Critical thinking is considered a type of high-level thinking where students are able to findseveral solutions in learning English reading texts (Barak & Zoller, 2007). While problemsolving is a complex activity which can help students be able to solve problems about thedifficulties that occur in learning to understand reading English text (Green & Gillhooly,2005: 347.So,based on the statement , i agree with the previous statement stating that theCritical-Thinking and Problem-Solving method into Teaching English Reading to EFLStudents in Indonesia because with the existence of these two methods, it is easy for students,especially EFL students in Indonesia to learn English as a foreign language especially withunderstanding reading English texts. The existence of these two learning methods helpsstudents think critically and find solutions faced in learning English texts. With the twomethods critical thinking and problem solving of learning English can attract students in  learning about understanding reading English texts and make the students more vocabulary inEnglish.The problem solving and critical thinking method in teaching Engish reading maketeacher when teaching Eglish especially in teaching reading English text make moreeffectively whnen learning English. The critical and problem solving method in tachingEnglish reading can help teacher to make the students understandig about the text and solvingthe task of the reading text. Because these methods constrain the students to read with readwith deep understanding. Critical thinking and problem solving are two cognitive skills that are used for thecreation and application of knowledge in the teaching process. This skill is needed because itcan help in the specific teaching process in learning for EFL students in Indonesia. It is theperson's choice to share such skills. Both of these methods make the teaching process runeffectively and efficiently.
