Date of Examination:   Deadline for Acceptance of Applications:   APRIL 25, 2010   MARCH 10, 2010   OCTOBER 17, 2010   SEPTEMBER 1, 2010  Acceptance of applications shall be on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. Applicationsmay no longer be accepted before the deadline if the target number of applicants has already been reached. A.   SCOPE OF THE EXAMINATIONS The Examinations shall cover thefollowing subject areas: 1. For Career Service Professional - In English and Filipino;vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension,analogy, logic and numerical reasoning 2.For Career Service Subprofessional - In English and Filipino; vocabulary, grammar and correctusage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, spelling, clerical operations andnumerical reasoningBoth Professional and Subprofessional levels of the examinations shall have generalinformation on the following areas: Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and EthicalStandards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues andConcepts, and Environment Management and Protection. B.   PASSING GRADE  To pass the test, the examinees should get a rating of at least 80.00. C.   ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Applicants are advised to check carefully whether theymeet the admission requirements stated below. Only those who meet the admission requirementsshould apply for the examination, otherwise, their applications shall be disapproved and theexamination fees paid shall be forfeited. 1. At least 18 years of age on the date of filing of application; 2. Must be Filipino citizens; 3. Must be of good moral character; 4. Have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude, or disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness or addictionto drugs; 5. Have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for causefrom any civilian positions in the government; 6. Applicants with pending administrative and/or criminal cases may take the examination and shall be conferred the eligibility if they successfully pass the same. However, this is without prejudice to the outcome of their pending cases. If theyare found guilty of grave offenses, their eligibility shall be forfeited based on the penalties statedin the decision and pursuant to Section 58 (a) of the Uniform Rules on Administrative Cases inthe Civil Service and CSC Resolution No. 010659, dated March 22, 2001; and 7. Have nottaken the same level of CS Examination in less than three (3) months or have not failed the sameexamination for four (4) times pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 56, s. 2002(Frequency of Taking the Career Service Examinations).  Those who have already passed the same level of examinations or a comparable level of examination given bythe Professional Regulation Commission, as well as passers of the Bar examination and those who graduatedwith honors need not apply. D.   APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS  1. Applicants must accomplish properly the prescribed examination application form ( CS FormNo. 100 Revised 2008 ).2. Four (4) latest and identical (1.5´ x 2´) I.D. pictures with white background and with a fullname tag that includes the surname, first name and middle initial taken within three (3) months before the date of filing of the application. Pictures that are scanned, photocopied or computer-enhanced are not accepted. Name tag should be hand-held. Applicants should not wear eyeglasses or any accessory that may cover their facial features when they are having their picturestaken.3. Any valid ID such as Driver¶s License, SSS ID, GSIS ID, current Office ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter¶s ID, Valid Passport or Police Clearance which contain the applicant¶s picture, signature, birthdate, and the signature of the authorized head of the issuing agency.Photocopy of the same should be attached to the approved application form to serve as referencefor Room Examiners on the day of the examination. 4. Examination fee of Php 350.00. E.   WHERE TO GET AND FILE APPLICATION FORMS  Application forms are available at any CSC Regional/Field Offices. The same may bedownloaded from the CSC website: . Application forms may be reproduced provided the same format is followed. Applicants may file their applications in any of the CSCRegional/Field Offices. F.   EXAMINATION PERMITS Qualified applicants shall be notifiedof their places of examination (school assignment) through a Notice of Assignment. If the noticeor permit is not received one (1) week before the examination date, the applicants must personally verify their place of examination from the CSC Regional/Field Office where theyfiled their application or may verify from the CSC website. Examinees may also use the OnlineQuery of School Assignment with Notice of Assignment system to get a print-out of their Noticeof Assignment. To use this system, the examinees should log on to the CSC Website and go tothe Examination Announcement webpage or type the following path: in the address bar of their browser. G.   WHAT TO BRING ON EXAMINATION DAY     Applicants should bring the following on examination day:1. Notice of Admission or Examination Permit 2. Lead Pencil/s (No. 1 or 2) and eraser/s 3.Ball Pen (Blue or Black) 4. The same valid ID cards presented during application stage (i.e.Driver¶s License, SSS ID, current Office ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter¶s ID, ValidPassport or Police Clearance) IMPORTANT REMINDERS  Failure to take the examination on your scheduled date shall mean forfeiture of your examination fees. No request for re-scheduling is allowed.DO NOT bring cellular phones and things/materials other than those listed above,otherwise these shall be confiscated by the Security Officers. The Commission shall not be liable for the loss or damage of said belongings. IMPORTANT REMINDERS  Any form of cheating in any civil service examination shall be considered a violation of  Republic Act 9416 and any person found guilty shall be administratively and criminally liable.Those found ADMINISTRATIVELY LIABLE shall suffer the following penalties: For thosein the GOVERNMENT SERVICE , dismissal from the service with all the accessory penaltiesof forfeiture of government benefits, cancellation of eligibility, bar from taking any governmentexamination, and perpetual disqualification from re-entering government service. For  PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS , perpetual bar from entering government service and from takingany government examination.Those found CRIMINALLY LIABLE shall be meted out the penalty of imprisonment of notless than six (6) years and one (1) day but not more than twelve (12) years and a fine of not lessthan Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php50,000.00) with the appropriate accessory penalties.
