Andrew Smith   Andrew’s work, which includes brand commercials, title sequences and product launches has seen him work across a myriad of mediums, from TV and cinema advertising to outdoor digital, radio commercials to internal corporate communications. On the way to picking up numerous awards, Andrew’s approach to visual communications involves gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s objectives and reaching the audience in new and exciting ways, whilst maintaining a strong adherence to the client’s creative brief. Andrew has championed such worldwide brands as Sony, Blackberry, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Douwe Egberts and P&O Ferries, Nissan, PG Tips and IHG where Andrew oversaw the entire creative execution for the rebranding of Holiday Inn Hotels worldwide. Andrew, now a proud board member of the IVCA, continues to make ground breaking visual communications for a host of worldwide brands.

Brief – “Develop a series health and safety films that ask the question: Is it an correct that working on a building site you have to accept that accidents will happen?” Creative – The key focus of the creative process on all aspects of the campaign was to really speak to people on a personal level. There is nothing more important than to be safe whilst working on a building site.

Brief – “Develop the taste comparison commercial of 2005, highlighting that the exceptional quality of Douwe Egberts ground coffee beans permeates into their new instant blend” Creative – We increased sales by producing a stylish commercial using, expertly researched with excellent scripting, voices and music.
  • 12. Brief – “For the global re-launch of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express introduce the new signage whilst playing on the heritage of the old...” Creative – 3D CG Animation of the new HI Great Sign over the decades played out to live to 6000 people in Dallas USA.
  • 13. Brief – “Develop the relationship between Marco Pierre White and his love of the humble Knorr stock cube ” Creative – Marco’s Little White Book – 3 filmed recipes for each month of the year emphasising that great cooking is within reach of us all, using readily available ingredients .
  • 14. Brief – “Create a short film that will communicate the health and safety policy of ‘Zero Incidents. Zero Injuries.’ to this Irish construction company’s employees” Creative – Use Sia’s ‘Breathe Me as a soundtrack to a man’s life and emphasise the importance of protection.
  • 15. Brief – “For the Global re-launch of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express introduce the new signage whilst playing on the heritage of the old...” Creative – We created a substantial film project at 2.8 meters high, 48:9 High Definition, bringing together over 3,000 video and photo assets. First shown in Farnborough, UK, in 2008 the film has since seen many versions produced for all regions in the Holiday Inn worldwide portfolio.

Brief – “P roduce a short film that speaks to both employees and employers in raising awareness of the implications that mental health issues have on the individual as well as businesses in general.” Creative – Using the track ‘Put On A happy Face’ we developed a surreal creative that shows just that – employees putting on a happy face.
  • 17. Brief – “ To rouse the spirits of Britain and explain we all can afford a holiday courtesy of P&O ” Creative – A 35mm, multi location highly polished characterisation of Britain today which is head and shoulders better than P&O’s competition … on a very small budget.
  • 18. Brief – “ Develop a series of innovative high end marketing promotions to over 35 different marketing territories ” Creative – Each creative needed to both sell the product and demonstrate the screen technology. Each project pushed the boundaries of what was possible with DVD and picture quality, enhancing sales in every region..

Laurie Castelli-Gair   Laurie has directed TVC’s for major brands all over the world, including AOL, Sony Playstation, Vodafone,Gordon´s Gin, Telefonica, and most recently has completed the latest worldwide campaign for Beck´s Beer. His work has won awards at The British TV awards, Los Ojos de Iberoamerica, and been short-listed at Cannes. In addition, projects include a number of non-commercial, issue based messages, such as a film on behalf of the victims of terrorism in Spain. Prior to a career behind the lens Laurie spent several years in the advertising industry in London as a board level account director at DDB (Then BMPDDB), and on the strategic side, as a senior planner at McCann Erickson, and latterly as planning director of CDP (Part of the Dentsu group).

Paul Morgans   Paul has garnered awards working with some of the world’s most exciting directors and brands, who are keen to use his unique talent for making their ideas and dreams become reality.   Whilst based in Germany during the ‘90’s, Paul set up the incredibly successful post production department at VCC Hamburg. In it’s opening year alone, Paul post produced 7 out of the 10 most successful commercials  that year. Pauls unique talent concentrates on achieving great performances combined with his original role as SFX supervisor, enabling his special effects background to be utilised effortlessly in his work. “ Paul loves making memorable work that has a universal appeal and creating visuals that have been described as ‘Existing only in the mind.”
